Alican Suner (Tonhalle Orchester, Zurich)

I had been following Nurgül and her work with admiration since 2022. The dedication and tidiness she shows in her work was very apparent when I met her personally and tried some of her violins in İstanbul. I immediately fell in love with one of her violins, a 1715 Strad copy, and made the decision on the spot to buy it. It has a very beautiful, sweet, feminine sound with a lot of overtones, yet still powerful in the lower registers.
I am proud to have it and hear its development it in my hands, next to my Guadagnini.

JAMES ROSSE (Maestro, Londra)

I am delighted to recommend Nurgul Comak’s work. She is a luthier working to the highest standards, and it has been a pleasure for visiting artists I have invited to Istanbul to perform using the fine instruments that she has made.

GONCA CELİKER BİLGET (Soloist & Kocaeli University State Conservatory Violin Instructor)

Nurgül Çomak is a talented, young Lutiye who adds a different interpretation and spirit to her instruments. She is of important value to our country. An artist personality who blends her elegant personality with her fine taste and adds it to her instruments… The beautiful, balanced timbres and balanced settings of Çomak’s instruments provide great comfort to the instrumentalist. As a performer who uses her instrument, I consider myself very lucky.

Good luck to you Nurgül Çomak

SERDAR ERKMENİS (Netherlands/ Soloist & violin teacher at vioolschool-leidschenveen)

I have been using Nurgul Comak’s violins since 2016 at my violin school in the Hague, Netherlands where I have been running my school and teaching for 20 years. I would like to say that the material quality, aesthetics and, most importantly, sound quality and price ranges are quite affordable. Before purchasing your violins, I recommend you try the instruments of Mrs. Comak.

RUSEN GUNES (London Philharmonic Orchestra Viola Artist & soloist)

I play with the viola that Nurgül made for me -Guarneri copy- The look and comfort of the instrument, its sound, its growing closer to me, its love for me – of course, maybe it’s the last perfume I used- 🙂 it’s nice having its trust, that the passages that are so difficult fall into my hands in a friendlier way.- we like to be together – and since there always has been a good friendship between me and the maker, it was written in a happy story as “It was produced for Rusen Gunes” which means there was no one before me. What I don’t believe in our culture is a bit like that!

Thank you Nurgul Comak

LEYLA BERK (Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra violinist)

A phone call from Rusen: “I’m going to buy my viola which I ordered from Nurgül, will you come with me?” We went together to her cute little workshop, a wonderful young woman with sparkling eyes. She gave the instrument that she had made with excitement into Ruşen’s hand, a soft and beautiful instrument. Ruşen played the instrument repeatedly, and said, it was very nice. Later, we became friends with Nurgül, and I left my instrument in her hands many times. She is a very meticulous researcher, and is a modest, passionate, and reassuring person, and luthier herself.

Dear Nurgül, may your way be good.

ERMAN TURKİLİ (Istanbul/ Soloist & Head of B.Ü. Music Department & Founder of Science-Art)

We have a friendship that started by chance with Mrs. Nurgül and continues with her wonderful work. The most important friend of an instrument artist and the place where he/she spends the most time is the luthier places, where the color of the sound of his/her instrument can be changed. I am very lucky to have such a relationship with Nurgül. Her professionalism, insistence on ethics and truth, give every artist a lot of confidence.

OZAN HANER (Dokuz Eylül University violin instructor)

I love my violin, which she made with masterful hands and only a female point of view, motherhood, and meticulousness of the heart. Thank you, mother of my violin, for being as close as a phone call about your expertise and the instruments you produce.

GÜLFEM GÜLER (Soloist)

The beautiful mother of my beautiful violin, who overcame my prejudice titled  “A new violin does not sound good.” When you say “I always stand behind my instrument” I would like to thank you for making us feel that you are always behind not only your instrument, but also the instrument you have brought into the world with great mastery and delicacy, and the musician you have delivered into his/her hands.

Good luck Nurgul Comak

METİN BATUR (Violin instructor & Soloist)

Nurgül Çomak is a new source of hope with world-class violins, violas, and cellos. She has been very useful to me and hundreds of my students, both with the instruments she made and with her restorations…

Thank you Nurgul Çomak

MESUT ERCAN (İnönü University Viola Teacher & Soloist)

I can’t thank Nurgül Çomak enough for bringing me this magnificent viola of my dreams in 2016. She is a luthier who immediately resolves my requests regarding the instrument, listens patiently in all matters and puts me at ease. I can’t thank her enough.
